Becca Sexton of Trumbull High School, and Sophia Rodriguez of Saint Joseph's High School were selected from a pool of applicants who submitted essays.
The scholarships were presented at the inaugural Connecticut Timberwolves College Scholarship Golf Tournament fundraiser, which aims to provide financial support for student-athletes pursuing higher education.
