11h agoThe Stamford Cricket Club Sizzlers hosted its annual women's tournament Saturday at Lione Park.
"This has been an opportunity for us to meet like-minded women. We found something really new to start after COVID so that was fun," said Veena Ramesh, organizer of the Stamford Cricket Club.
Teams from both Connecticut and New York participated.
The Stamford Cricket Club has grown to 20 members since its inception in 2021.
